Ian Muir

Chairman

As Chairman of the Muir Group, Ian uses his extensive knowledge of agribusiness in general and horticulture in particular to advise and guide business activities and direction.

He has an international footprint through his business partners and collaborations with suppliers and customers through Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.

In 2019, his many years of support and service to the Australian Horticultural Industry, he received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the 2019 Hort Connections Conference,.

He has served as a Chairman and Director to a variety of other organisations in agribusiness such as Fairbanks Selected Seeds P/L (Chairman) since 1996 and Aglink P/L from 1997-2005 and 2019 to current.

Ric Muir

Director

For 53 years, Ric has been actively involved with implementing and driving the business strategy of E.E. Muir & Sons. He has been a significant force in the development of the hugely successful Campbells brand.

He remains in the organisation as an advisor on business strategy. He continues to seek business opportunities that supports the business directions of the Muir Group.

In 2022 Ric Muir was recognised for over 50 years in the agricultural industry by being awarded the Ausveg Victoria's "SERVICE TO THE INDUSTRY" award.

Andrew Muir

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Andrew has been a proven performer creating significant value for the business for over 20 years. Since his appointment as Managing Director and CEO of TMG on July 1 2019, Andrew, with the Board and his senior leadership team has led the establishment of a new strategy and direction for the business.

As CEO, Andrew’s responsibilities are to the board, managing, Safety, People and Culture, Financial performance and strength, and he now leads the implementation of the strategy under the three key headings of Expansion, Value creation and Modernisation.

Under his leadership, Andrew has created a business environment and structure that will deliver the next stages of the business’ evolution. The business is well placed to take advantage of significant future opportunities.

Stuart Muir

Director

Stuart brings his intimate understanding of the customer needs and products range to his area of responsibility of National Accounts Manager. He works with the Finance department, specifically the accounts areas to provide best of industry leading policies to support the clients of E.E. Muir & Sons.

He applies his collaborative style to this critical part of the business to work with the customers of the Muir Group to assist them in their own business aspirations.

Cameron Muir

Director

Cameron, as a Director and senior leader within the Muir Group has the key responsibility for identifying productivity and business efficiencies through his focus on inventory control and logistics. He has applied technological solutions to enhance the modernisation of processes leading to the creation of nimble business practices.

He has a deep understanding of the business practices and the need for customer service through his years in the field as an agronomist.

He works with key product areas of the Group to ensure the development, supply and implementation of innovative solutions to the benefit of all Muir Group customers.

James Muir

Director and General Manager Campbell Fertilisers

A Director of the Muir Group, James also has primary carriage of Campbell Fertiliser as its National Manager. He has a powerful background in sales and marketing through his current role and in previous positions as National Sales Manager with E.E. Muir & Sons and with Fairbanks Selected Seeds (a subsidiary of the Muir Group).

He has held operational management responsibilities within E.E. Muir & Sons through his leadership of the critical Eastern Victoria Region.

James had developed key relationships within the Australian and international markets with these relationships contributing to the future growth of the business

Cat Parker

Advisor

Cat Parker is a CIO/CDO and commercial leader with over two decades of USA, EMEA and APAC experience at Fortune 500, NASDAQ and ASX listed Retailers and Marketplace companies.

Her core focus areas are multi-channel retail Customer Experience (Cx), eCommerce and marketplaces trading, data platforms and lakes, business strategy, supply chain solutions (robotics, 3PLs, Last Mile Delivery), customer loyalty, 1:1 personalisation, RetailOps, retail concept stores, digital transformation and ICT (ERP, POS, Applications & Infrastructure).

Cat has an Honours degree in Commerce (BCom), an MBA and has studied Executive Management at Harvard University.  In her spare time she volunteers with The Gates Foundation in connection with Bridges to Understanding to promote education via digital story-telling.

Dominic Pelligana

Advisor

A valued and trusted member of the Muir Group Advisory Board, Dominic has held the position of Advisor since its inception several years ago.

With a solid background as a Senior Partner with KPMG, with various State, National and APAC leadership roles across the firm and the midmarket practice.

Most recently building on his own consulting business focusing solely on Business Families, Dominic provides advice on Governance, Strategy and Succession.

 

 

John Maher

John Maher

Advisor

With over 25 years Executive/CEO Leadership and Board Directorship experience across several publicly listed and private companies, John holds the position of trusted advisor and mentor for the Muir Group Leadership Team.

John has an Honours Degree in Agriculture Science and an MBA. John has also studied Global Agribusiness at Harvard Business School. With a strong background working in Agriculture, John’s direction will oversee strategic leadership and compliance.

Company Secretary

Pat was appointed Company Secretary of the Muir Group in 2016 after serving over 20 years in a similar role at Serve-Ag (Division of the Muir Group). As Company Secretary, Pat has overall responsibility of providing advice and support to the CEO and advises the Board on all matters of corporate governance.
