Andrew Muir

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Andrew has been a proven performer creating significant value for the business for over 20 years. Since his appointment as Managing Director and CEO of TMG on July 1 2019, Andrew, with the Board and his senior leadership team has led the establishment of a new strategy and direction for the business.

As CEO, Andrew’s responsibilities are to the board, managing, Safety, People and Culture, Financial performance and strength, and he now leads the implementation of the strategy under the three key headings of Expansion, Value creation and Modernisation.

Under his leadership, Andrew has created a business environment and structure that will deliver the next stages of the business’ evolution. The business is well placed to take advantage of significant future opportunities.

Greg Linsdell

Chief Operating Officer

Greg was appointed the Chief Operating Officer of the Muir Group 0n July 1 2021. A proven leader within the business, and previous positions including General Manager – Operations of E.E Muir & Sons, Greg directs the strategy and operations of the bricks and mortar regional and branch network as well as overseeing the operational activities of other business units with the Muir Group.

A strong believer in the development of people, Greg works through his leadership structure to ensure his employers are focused and equipped to provide the high level of innovative and quality customer service and support that the Muir Group is renowned for.

Chief Financial Officer

With qualifications in accounting and finance, Yakoob overseas the critical functions of finance and administration. His team manages the processes for the financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.

Yakoob provides strategic recommendations to the Board , the CEO, members of the executive management team and senior leaders on long-term business and financial planning.

He works closely with the CEO to manage compliance, risk management, business and financial affairs to support the Group’s expansion, value creation and modernisation strategies.

Elizabeth Gregory

People and Culture Manager

Elizabeth brings with her extensive human resource leadership experience in sales and commercial businesses. As People and Culture Manager, she is charged the key responsibility of developing strategies for attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent to ensure high level of innovation and customer service that the Muir Group prides itself on.

She works with and supports the leadership and management structure to build their capacity in people management and culture development.
